Uses of Electrolytic Manganese Metal Flake :

Electrolytic manganese metal flake is mainly used as an additive in the manufacturing of Steel. Added to improve mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of aluminum alloys 3000-series, especially those used in the production of beverage can sheet alloys. Mn also acts as a deoxidizer or desulphuriser in the production of Steel. It is also used in the production of flux mixtures for welding rods.

The main purpose of the silicon metal is the additive as a non-iron-base alloy. The content of silicon in the earth crust is 27.7%, the second largest element in earth curst, the most abundant element in the earth crust – oxygen and silicon – combine to silica SiO2, accounting for 87% of the total mass of the crust.
